"A great Irish pub band who gets the audience involved in the music with their energetic, upbeat, toe tapping, foot stomping, humorous songs."

Based in the Youngstown Warren Ohio area.

Catch the Irish Spirit

Released in November of 2003, Catch the Irish Spirit has a mixture of standard and traditional Irish tunes such as Finnegan's Wake, Irish Rover, Reilly's Daughter, The Leaving of Liverpool, and I'll Tell Me Ma. Some old time favorites include Dear Old Donegal, Clancy, Our House, Maid in a Garrett, Come In, and Mrs. Crandall's Boarding House. Let's not forget those rebel songs Johnson's Motor Car and The Patriot Game. This CD also has two of the bands' original humorous songs My Leprechaun and McCarthy Lay Dead. Listen to this CD and you're sure to Catch the Irish Spirit.

Grab Your Coat

Released in July of 2006, Grab Your Coat features 5 of the bands' original tunes along with other traditional favorites. The bands own: Pub Mates, for our loyal fans; Grab Your Coat, a song about starting a new life across the sea from Ireland; Hurrah Heroic Boys, a tribute to Michael Collins and the fight for freedom; Poitin Shebeen, stories of the (puh-cheen), ah the turmoil and troubles of the drink; Weigh the Anchor, she followed a dream only to return. See ya in my dreams. Other favorites include A Nation Once Again, Wild Colonial Boy, Hills of Connemara, Johnny Jump Up, Moonshiner, Drunken Sailor, South Australia, Bonny Ship the Diamond, and The Parting Glass. Tom Dolan sings us Danny Boy and does a grand job of it for a man of... well let's just say he's sang it all his 60 something years. Lively and fun, so...Grab Your Coat and go see Rose & Thistle live!
